Job Vacancy – Beer Village Commercial Manager - £11,000 pa

Beer Parish Council and the Coastal Community Team (CCT) are looking to promote and develop village events and resources to increase the dwell time of visitors and extend the visitor season. This is a part-time role funded initially for three years by the grant awarded to the Beer Coastal Community Team from the Coastal Community Fund.

Tasks involve developing, organising and administering profitable village events and managing village facilities. To include the co-ordination and advertising and PR of all events. Also to collect and analyse current and future village data to produce reports on visitor numbers and benefits, to include measuring the impact and benefit of the funding. This is a new position and the role and responsibilities will evolve over time to include additional tasks.

The role will report directly to the Parish Council Chair on either a salaried or a self-employed basis. The role is for 16 hours per week and is home based.

Beer Parish Council is keen to set up a register of volunteers who are willing to help out with jobs to help keep the village well maintained.
